Happy Tuesday.  I am Bob with MG&L.  I own a small business (me & wifey).  Bought a OMTech 30W 175×175 Fiber Laser last year and am challenging myself to get the software (EZCad) working correctly with it.  I hope there are alot of massive brains out there I can tap into.  -Cheers

Welcome! If you have Ezcad2, my first recommendation would be give Lightburn a shot. They have a 30 day free trial and it is so much better than Ezcad

It turns out that EZCad was having problems that could not be resolved by the support folks at OMTech.  So OMTech provided me gift cards to replace it with LightBurn.  Voila!!! I am now functioning!  I’ve got the basics down and can pretty much self teach via Alex’s videos.  However, I have come to an issue that I cannot seem to understand.  When the framing window is up and I hit “start”, a window pops up that says “One or more shapes are crossing the edge of the machine workspace and will not be sent.”.  I think this is fairly self explanatory.  But given my logo is approximately 1″ x 1″ and centered in  the layout screen, I cannot figure out why it is giving me this message.  Any thoughts?
